The Syd Redfern Rose Bowl
The Rose Bowl is an award given to the member of the club who in their view has given the most to the club in the course of the past year and is awarded at the AGM meeting and decided by means of a member vote.
The rose bowl was given to the club many years ago by Syd Redfern who was previously a professional actor, he was impressed with the level of commitment and talent that existed within the club overall and felt that it should always be recognised and celebrated. The Rose Bowl has been awarded annually ever since.
